Furniture lasts longer if handled with care and kept in a suitable environment. To help with this, please follow the care instructions shown below.

Wood

Being a natural material, wood can stain. It can also change colour over time if left in direct sunlight. To prolong the life of your wood product, always remove any spilt liquids or residues from surfaces that could otherwise be absorbed, using clean water and a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly afterwards.

Laminate

Wipe with a damp cloth soaked with soapy water. For stubborn marks a careful application of a non-abrasive cleaning cream can be used, but test a concealed area first.

Veneer

To clean, wipe with a warm damp cloth. Do not use any spray or abrasive cleaners as they may damage the surface. Buff dry afterwards.

Metal

Steel, aluminium and other metallic polished surfaces should be cleaned using warm water and a soft damp cloth. Avoid using cleaning products as they may damage the surface finish. Liquids such as coke, fruit juice and coffee can stain if not removed immediately. Always use a soft lint free cloth to dry thoroughly to prevent dull surfaces and rust formation.

Glass

Use a cleaning product specifically designed for glass and a soft non-abrasive cloth to dry after to avoid residue and scratches. Special care is required during transportation to avoid chipping and breakage.

Plastic

This type of surface can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth and warm water. For stubborn marks, a little soap can be used, then rinsed thoroughly with clean water. A soft lint free cloth should be used after to dry thoroughly.

Teak

Teak surfaces do require oiling at least once a year. This can help to protect against the elements, and to maintain the product's natural colour.

Fabrics

Please check before attempting to clean fabric as methods vary immensely, and most will require specialist cleaning.

Leather

Leather is a natural product, and only recommended cleaning agents should be used. Spillages can be removed using a clean damp cloth and dried thoroughly after.
